I work as a PhD student in Leiden University, The Netherlands. My project title is 'Plural as value for Cushitic gender'. We are investigating the cognitive interaction between grammatical gender and number by applying a psycholinguistic technique known as the picture-word interference paradigm to Cushitic languages of Ethiopia.
